The flare of the Statoil Statfjord C Gas Platform. Statfjord C Gas Platform has a concrete gravity base structure incorporating storage cells. Statfjord is one of the oldest producing fields on the Norwegian continental shelf, and the largest oil discovery in the North Sea.

This oil rig stock photo was taken from the MV Geofjord. Originally owned and operated by DOF Subsea, the Geofjord is now owned by Jas Marine in Malaysia.
