The Åsgard field is located in the Halten Bank in the Norwegian Sea, approximately 200 kilometres off mid-Norway.
The Åsgard B platform is a semi-submersible floating gas production platform. Åsgard is one of the largest developments on the Norwegian continental shelf consisting of 52 wells drilled through 16 seabed templates.
These oil rig pictures were taken from the DOF owned M/V Geosund, a multipurpose support and survey vessel equipped with two Schilling working class ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles).
