Block 31 PSVM (Plutao, Saturno, Venus and Marte) fields are located in the North East sector of Block 31 at a depth of approximately 2000m. The fields lay about 400 kilometres north west of Luanda in Angola and are operated by BP.

This oil rig stock photograph was taken from the URS owned Union Manta vessel. The Union Manta is an anchor handling tug supply vessel. Shown is the Union Manta’s Schilling ROV (Remotely Operated Vessel) being launched from the back deck to begin pipeline survey and construction work. In the distance is the support vessel President Hubert.
