Oil Rig Photos

Block 31 PSVM (Pluto, Saturno, Vnus and Marte) fields are located in the North East sector of Block 31 at a depth of approximately 2000m. The fields lay about 400 kilometres north west of Luanda in Angola and are operated by BP.

Shown is a stock image of the Heerema owned Deepwater Construction Vessel (DCV) Balder. The Balder was built as a semi-submersible crane vessel in 1978 and converted to a DCV in 2001.
