Oil Rig Photos

Block 31 PSVM (Plutao, Saturno, Venus and Marte) fields are located in the North East sector of Block 31 at a depth of approximately 2000m. The fields lay about 400 kilometres north west of Luanda in Angola and are operated by BP.

Shown is a stock image of the Subsea 7 owned Seven Seas vessel, a construction / flexlay vessel capable of operating in water depths of up to 3000 metres.

In the distance is the Heerema owned Deepwater Construction Vessel (DCV) Balder. The Balder was built as a semi-submersible crane vessel in 1978 and converted to a DCV in 2001.

This oil rig stock photograph was taken from the URS owned Union Manta vessel. The Union Manta is an anchor handling tug supply vessel.
